Who are We?
Shine is a weekly group for vulnerable adults who have learning or physical disabilities.
Government cutbacks in 2007 meant Shine lost the money we needed to provide a weekly club for our vulnerable users. However, Jenny, Frank and Jeff decided to keep it running.
We meet every Monday between 7:00pm and 9:00pm and have a range of fun and educational activities.
From lunches out, to bingo nights, to fire safety awareness to a good old karaoke night Shine continues to provide a wealth of high quality social experiences for those who attend.
While Jenny, Frank and Jeff actively organise and run the club, volunteers are always welcome to come and see what a wonderful experience Shine is.
